Listening to 1984: The Complete Epic
All 12 installments plus bonus episodes and apocrypha, all in one place.
Did it really happen? Did I really spend over two years reliving the year 1984, and then a couple more years processing and posting about it? For the love of God, why? Well— on the other end of all that mayhem, I can honestly say that I understand my generation better: where we came from, what shaped us, what holds us back and what fuels us still. On a personal level, I have a clearer sense of what I believe and why I believe it. Plus, I had never watched The Terminator before, so there’s that. All endeavors have an opportunity cost; I’m not sure I would recommend such an undertaking to anyone else. On the other hand, the past yields riches that, for the intrepid time-traveler (with the aid of YouTube and eBay) are waiting to be rediscovered and celebrated.
Here then, for your convenience, is the entire epic with all the bonuses, multimedia forays, and apocrypha, fully unlocked and sequenced for the first time. Is it, in the modern parlance, binge-worthy? Hard to say. (Again, opportunity costs come into the equation). But at the very least, it is gnarly!

I'm still not clear--you are or are not moving on to 1985? Please update.
Maybe in another lifetime, Ben! What happens in 1985 stays in 1985. Unless _you_ want to step in the time machine?
